Here's exactly what our Crawl Space Mold Removal service covers in Waverly, NY.
Heavy-duty polyethylene sheeting gets sealed across the entire crawl space floor and up the foundation walls.
We evaluate existing drainage before proposing anything, since some Waverly crawl spaces just need a simple fix.
For chronic humidity problems, full encapsulation seals the entire space — floor, walls, and vents — into a controlled environment.
Exposed floor joists and subfloor wood get HEPA-vacuumed and treated with an antimicrobial suited for structural lumber.
Some Waverly, NY crawl spaces were built vented, which can actually pull in humid outside air during summer months.
Some Waverly clients schedule an annual crawl space check as cheap insurance against round two.
We keep this simple enough to explain before you book, even though the space itself is anything but simple to work in.
Tell us what you're seeing and we'll get a Crawl Space Mold Removal specialist on the calendar for your Waverly property, often same-day. Texting a photo ahead of time can speed up prep.

You get documentation proving the work was completed to standard. Any follow-up questions get answered on the spot, not routed to voicemail.

The questions we hear most about crawl space work.
Our Waverly techs use low-profile gear built for confined spaces, including knee pads, headlamps, and compact equipment.
Encapsulation addresses the moisture source directly, which is usually what causes crawl space mold to return after a basic treatment.
If previous work only treated visible growth without addressing vapor barrier gaps or drainage, the moisture source was never actually fixed.
Air moves between a crawl space and living areas more than most people expect, especially through gaps around plumbing and ductwork.
A standard treatment typically takes one day; full encapsulation can take two to three days depending on square footage.
